Dear fellow pirates,

 

Every sailor worth his salt enjoys a crooked card game (or two) on occasion. Whether its for some hard earned gold doubloons, or the hook off his hand, the sheer excitement of giving into the capricious thrills of lady luck can be hard to resist. One of the most popular games among pirates has to be the Guess My Card game. This game is fun, easy to learn, and can be thoroughly enjoyed whether you're stone sober or been hitting the rum hard.

 

No one ever said that gambling was a good investment, but the Shadow Dealer has done his very best to turn a personal passion into a thriving business. Unfortunately he's more inclined to play cards than he is to run his fledgling casino. Trying to keep his business afloat, he has opened a Guess My Card VIP Suite for pirates who want to try their luck at a true pirate pastime. This exclusive invitation is open to all VIP pirates. No buy-ins are required, and, the Shadow Dealer will be giving away fabulous prizes to everyone who tries their luck.

9:30pm - 10:30pm June 29th EDT (GMT-4) Dream Island Servers

Event Rules
 
1.  Players must have their VIP necklaces on them when they arrive at Spring Town (3212, 2506) to sign up for the event. The GM will then add them as friends. Registration will be open for 15 minutes. Late-comers will not be allowed to join in the fun. 

 * Remember to have a friend slot available so our GM can add you.
 
2.  Once registration is complete, the GM will teleport players to the event suite. All participants will get their Door Prizes and a set of Alphabet Letter Cards.
 
3.  Players must wait patiently for their turn. The GM will party with 2 players for each Guess My Card match. The 2 players will then hand over 1 of their Alphabet Letter Cards to the GM. Once that is done, the GM will ask the players to start guessing the Alphabet Letter on the other person's card in local chat. 
 
4.  Players can make 1 guess each round. If no victor emerges after 8 rounds, both players will be eliminated. Players who have lost must return all their Alphabet Letter Cards to our GM.  (Updated)

5. Anyone who performs any action that may unfairly affect the outcome of the event will be immediately disqualified.

6. The tournament will follow a playoff format. Our GM will randomly assign participants to the different branches of the playoff tree. Some lucky players may receive a bye to the next round if there are not enough participants to form a proper playoff tree.

7. Our GM will teleport players back to Argent City at the end of the event.

8. IGG reserves the right of final interpretation of all event rules and rewards.
